Nonogram Logic Puzzles

Reveal hidden pictures one deduction at a time. LogiSketch is a beautifully crafted nonogram app (aka Picross, Griddlers, Hanjie, and Paint by Numbers) built for players who love pure logic, from your very first puzzle to brain-bending marathons.

START FREE
The Starter gallery is free the moment you install. When you want more, buy just the galleries you like, from $0.99 each, or unlock them all with the Museum Membership. No subscriptions: own what you buy, forever.

MASSIVE LIBRARY, FROM TINY TO GIGANTIC
Start with quick, bite-sized grids and work your way up to sprawling, gigantic puzzles that unfold like real artwork. With thousands of hand-curated puzzles across dozens of themed galleries, you will never run out of challenges. Whether you have two minutes or two hours, there is always a perfect puzzle waiting.

NO ADS. EVER.
We hate interruptions as much as you do. LogiSketch has zero ads: no banners, no pop-ups, no timers begging you to watch a video. Share your galleries with your family, too.

PLAY ANYWHERE, NO WIFI REQUIRED
Because there are no ads to load, LogiSketch works completely offline. Solve on a plane, on the subway, in the mountains, or anywhere with no signal. Your puzzles and progress are always right there, ready when you are.

TRUE DIFFICULTY, RATED THE RIGHT WAY
Most nonogram apps just call a big grid "hard." We do it properly. Every LogiSketch puzzle is analyzed by our solving engine and rated by the reasoning it actually requires:
. Intuitive: learn the ropes with straightforward, satisfying deductions.
. Logical: master the classic overlap technique and line-by-line reasoning.
. Analytical: tackle puzzles that demand trial placements, contradiction arguments, and thinking several rows and columns ahead.
A small grid can be fiendishly clever, and a big one can be a relaxing breeze. Now the rating finally tells you the truth.

TOOLS FOR THE SERIOUS SOLVER
LogiSketch respects expert players:
. Q-marks let you record "maybe" hypotheses for advanced analytical reasoning, so you can explore possibilities without losing your place.
. Extra gestures speed up filling, marking, and navigating: pinch or drag to select a region, row and column locking, and more.
. Solve enormous puzzles your way: as one epic whole, or broken into manageable panels you complete one section at a time.
Every control is designed to keep you in flow, not fighting the interface.

COLOR AND BLACK & WHITE
Enjoy timeless black-and-white logic puzzles, or dive into rich, full-color nonograms where each clue is tinted to its color. Color puzzles add a new dimension of strategy (including flexible spacing rules between colors) and reward you with vibrant pixel-art images.

HINTS & TIPS WHEN YOU WANT THEM
Stuck on a tricky line? A gentle hint will nudge you in the right direction without spoiling the fun, and helpful tips teach you the techniques the pros use. Prefer a challenge with stakes? Try Survivor mode, where careful play matters and every move counts. However you like to play, LogiSketch adapts to you.

WHY PLAYERS LOVE LOGISKETCH
. Free to start: the whole Starter gallery, no purchase required.
. Thousands of professionally designed puzzles, from tiny to gigantic.
. Honest, genuine difficulty ratings based on solving methodology, not just grid size.
. No ads and no internet required.
. Buy only the galleries you want, from $0.99, and keep them forever.
. Clean, elegant design that looks stunning in light and dark mode.
. Your puzzle progress follows your iCloud account: iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Nonograms are more than a pastime: they are a workout for your brain, a moment of calm focus, and a spark of that "aha!" satisfaction every time a picture appears. Beginner or veteran, LogiSketch gives you the deepest, most respectful nonogram experience on the App Store.

Download today, free to start, and begin uncovering pictures with pure logic.

Version History New: try the reverse conjecture on black and white puzzles. Once you have a guess down with question marks, flip your first guess and follow what the opposite leads to. Any cell that comes out the same both ways is proven, and LogiSketch fills it in for you.

The Advanced Marks tour has a new chapter that walks you through it.

Also in this update:
- The Gift Shop now shows how much the Museum Membership saves over buying galleries one at a time.
- Auto-play now names each deduction directly, like "Gap too small" or "Only one gap fits", instead of one vague catch-all label.
- Gallery cards now show the puzzle title first, with colors, difficulty, and size together on one line.
- On iPad, Puzzle Options opens at full height, so every option is in view without scrolling a small panel.
- Fixed: on iOS 27, a puzzle small enough to fit on screen sits in the middle again instead of in the top-left corner.
- Fixed: on black and white puzzles, pressing and holding the tool button no longer also switches between fill and X-mark when you let go.
- Fixed: a purchase, a spent life, or a solve that landed while iCloud sync was running could be undone by that sync. It now sticks. 2.3 Oct 6 Browsing now shows you every gallery, not just the ones you own, listed right under "More Galleries" so you can jump straight to any of them in the Gift Shop.

Finish every puzzle in the free Starter gallery and a card points you to what's next.

Also in this update:
- The Gift Shop opens straight to its prices instead of starting collapsed, every item has a clear Buy button, and the Gift Shop is reachable from anywhere you're browsing, including on iPhone.
- If a purchase needs approval (like Ask to Buy), the Gift Shop now says so instead of looking like nothing happened.
- Fixed a rare case where the all-access Museum Membership pass could briefly show only the Starter gallery right after launch. 2.2 Sep 16 LogiSketch 2.1 adds Advanced Marks for serious solvers. Color exclusion: rule out a candidate color for a cell, and watch it fill itself in once only one color remains. Q-mark conjecture sets: stack up to four levels of "what if" so you can explore a second guess without losing your first, then prove or disprove a whole level at once. Color Focus dims everything on the board that isn't about your current tool's color, so a color puzzle reads like that color's own sub-puzzle.

A new guided tour and help page walk through all three tools. On iPad and Mac, the tour shows a chapter list you can jump around in.

Also in this update:
- Autofill can now use X-Mark and Q-Mark together, not just one or the other.
- Puzzle Options and Settings are reorganized: Puzzle Options only holds what applies to the puzzle you're solving.
- The puzzle toolbar now separates what you can tap from what it's only telling you.
- Fixed a pinch-to-fill selection bug and an X-mark tap bug.
- Fixed a sync conflict bug where "Keep This Device's" could undo moves made after the conflict was detected. 2.1 Sep 15 LogiSketch is now available on Mac, with the same puzzle library, a native Mac window, and full mouse and trackpad support.

Your progress now follows your iCloud account: put down an iPhone mid-puzzle and pick it up on an iPad or Mac. Solved puzzles, bonus lives and tips, and fastest times all come with you. If two devices worked on the same puzzle and the results genuinely disagree, you'll see both versions side by side and choose which one to keep.

Also in this update:
- iCloud sync can be turned off for any single device in Settings.
- "Export progress backup", under Settings then Help then Support, can email a safety-net snapshot of your progress to support. One is taken automatically just before your first sync.
- In Panel mode, tapping a dimmed panel now explains how to switch to it (or that it's already solved), instead of doing nothing.
- "Hint with Explanation" now waits for you to tap "Got It" instead of auto-dismissing, so you have time to actually read it.
- Sound effects now follow your device's volume setting.
- Small visual and reliability improvements throughout. 2.0 Sep 1 Version 1.1 brings improved accessibility, smarter solving tools, and a batch of fixes and content updates.

ACCESSIBILITY & VISUALS
- New custom color schemes, including palettes designed to be friendly for color-blind players
- Full support for large accessibility font sizes throughout the app
- New X-mark option for marking rectangle fills in black & white puzzles

SOLVING TOOLS
- New hint type that explains the reasoning behind the suggested move, not just the move itself
- Live count of cells completed while you solve
- Rectangle size now displays while pinching out to fill an area
- Milemarkers now shown on every 5th row/column line while scrolling, making it easier to count cells
